Dr. Distelhorst and her team at Streamside Dental are the best. They have been taking care of me for years and I can’t think of another place to go.
I have been a patient for 30 years and I have spent hours in a dental chair so I know good dentistry. Streamside Dental is far superior to any other facility I have used. They are efficient, conscientious, caring and thorough. From cleanings to restorative work everyone is excellent at their job. I could not ask for better care,

Wow! Dr. Dorothy is the best dentist I've been to. Period. After knocking a bunch of teeth out skiing I've gotten to know the dental world pretty well. Just gonna go ahead and remind you permanent teeth don't grow back! Wish I had thought about that before the stupid cliff. Anyways, long story short; I have had at least 30 dental professionals work on my mouth in the past four years. Out of all of them, I can easily say, Dr. Dorothy was the most thorough. She and her team took care of my teeth like I was family. My initial one hour appointment for a filling turned into three hours as she realized there was a lot more work. There wasn't a sales pitch or pressure. She simply gave me my options and explained the outcome of each choice. I couldn't believe she took the time to explore all my options. So rare these days. I wish I found Dr. Dorothy and her team years ago.Side Perk: Also as the name suggests, all the chairs in the office have a gorgeous view of Gore Creek and the towering East Vail Chutes. Honestly, I'd be happy looking at a freeway, as long as Dr. Dorothy and team are working on me. You might even start looking forward to dentist visits. Haha!

The dental chairs face the creek and the view is amazing. I've tried other dentists in the Valley and am so happy to have found Streamside Dental...will never go anywhere else.

Wonderful warm and welcoming staff; I️ felt so cared for dr Dorothy is a powerhouse that radiates joy, compassion and passion for what she does. This was the best dental experience I’ve ever had. You can really feel the difference when you come here- and the views of the river and birds from the dental chairs are stunning
"Good enough" is not a thought process at Dorothy's practice. It has to be perfect. And, through their careful and thorough work, they make it that way. I have a complex dental situation: implants, bridges, the lot, and it's all within their competency. Very good customer service and clean, modern facilities. I've been a Streamside patient for more than five years. Don't plan to change.
I love how I am not just a patient at Streamside Dental, I'm a friend. I think making someone feel comfortable is the most important part of any practice, and Dr. Distolhorst and her staff do it perfectly.

Most caring and comfortable experience I've ever had with a dentist. The whole staff is very helpful and welcoming. The care given was very personal. Dr. Dorothy showed true concern during and after my visit. She made every effort to help me understand all my options, even if it was a service she couldn't provide, she still guided me in the direction of other professionals that could. I also appreciated the effort and honesty she gave when discussing the financial aspect of it. Over all I felt very confidant in my choice of Streamside dental. I would recommend it to anyone.
I can not express my gratitude to the team at Streamside for how well they handled my four kids, in particular, my daughter Nina, who, after vomiting at a previous dental visit (at a different dentist) was pretty deathly afraid to see another, after 2 trips to Streamside, she is no longer scared silly of the dentist. Additionally, when she turned 6, she listened to their request that she stop sucking her thumb, and flat out stopped, I think she respects them!
